Dua Lipa gets engaged: I'm happier than ever with Callum Turner

Albanian singer Dua Lipa is engaged to actor Callum Turner. The pop star told Vogue magazine that this step is very exciting.

"Yes, we are engaged. This decision to grow old together, for a lifetime together, to be best friends forever is a truly special feeling," she said.

The couple has yet to set a wedding date, and the singer said she needs to finish her world tour, which ends in Mexico in December, before getting married. Turner, meanwhile, is busy filming his upcoming projects.

He is known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air, and was nominated for a Bafta award in 2020.

The "Don't Start Now" star's interview was conducted in April but was released on Wednesday. Turner had proposed earlier, as early as December of last year, but the couple chose not to make it public.

The singer also expressed that one day she would love to start a family with Turner.

Sources close to the couple said that the British actor is a strong support for Dua and they are a wonderful couple. Their family and friends are very happy about the relationship that the couple has.
