Democratic Party spokesperson Floriana Garo opened the opposition's national protest held on the National Martyrs' Boulevard.

In her speech, Garo emphasized that in the square today is the voice of all honest Albanians, who no longer accept theft, corruption and betrayal of the nation.

"We have traveled a long and arduous path to get here, but here we are, as we promised, stronger, more united and more open. We are here to stand up for Albania. To show that the time for the great change that we all expect has come, the time for victory has come," said Garo.
