45 thousand euros found in the van that arrived at the Port of Vlora

An undeclared amount of euros was found in a van during a search of vehicles that arrived today at the Port of Vlora from Italy.

According to the Vlora border police, 45 thousand euros were found hidden in a Mercedes Benz Vito vehicle.

Police are questioning the driver of the van, Kreshnik Ramo, as well as the source of the euros that were hidden.

"Around 08.00, during the processing of the Brindisi-Vlora ferry, the services of the Vlora DVKM, have passed for inspection in the second line the 'Mercedes Benz Vito' vehicle, with the driver, citizen Kreshnik Ramo. During the inspection in the second line, an amount of 45,600 euros undeclared was found in the seat of the vehicle", the police announced.

Ramo was taken to the police and procedural actions are being taken as a suspect for "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border".
