The abuse of 322 million lek with the water supply tender leaves the mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, in prison
GJKKO has decided the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the head of the municipality of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla and the other 12 officials of this municipality, arrested by order of SPAK.
Earlier, during his testimony in the session, Alla described the accusations against him as political.
"In my opinion, it would be more honest to tell me to open my arms than to have these political trials. The charges are political. I did not violate the law" , said Alla.
We recall that according to SPAK, Alla used his position as mayor, favoring a company to win the tender worth 322 million ALL, for the construction of the water supply in Bulqiza.
From SPAK's investigations, there are doubts that the works for the water supply were carried out by another company, which has social ties to Alla.
Alla took the office of mayor in the elections of June 2019, as a candidate of the Socialist Party.
