They demanded 20 thousand euros from a 36-year-old man to not publish intimate

Police have arrested three people after they are accused of threatening a 36-year-old man to give them 20,000 euros to avoid publishing intimate film footage.

As part of the "Coercion" operation, the arrest warrants for citizens AM, 29 years old, and M. Sh., 26 years old, were executed, and on 24.10.2024, citizen SS, 23 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, taking money from the 36-year-old.

Operation "Coercion" came as a result of an investigation using proactive methods, by the Sector for the Investigation of Crimes against Property, in the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, in the Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

Investigations suspect that the 3 citizens threatened the 36-year-old to give them 20,000 euros so that they would not publish intimate photos and videos.

The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecution Office, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Coercion by threat or violence for the provision of property", committed in collaboration.
