Former MEP Doris Pack expresses her satisfaction that the Court of Appeal gave the stamp of the DP to the head of the DP, Sali Berisha.


Pack said in an interview for "Euronews Albania", that the opposition led by Berisha is the real opposition of the country and now, according to her, it will be possible to go to the elections as a single party.

She also said that Berisha left the prime minister's office because Albania was in a situation where it had received the status of a candidate country for the EU, unlike today, which according to her, the country has many problems.

"I think it's a very strange situation. I am satisfied that the Court gave the seal to Sali Berisha's Democratic Party, which is a real opposition. Now it has the chance to go to the elections as a single party and to see who works for the people and who is European.


Berisha left the prime minister's office after he had led Albania to a situation where it had the status of a candidate country for the EU. While today there are many problems in the country.

I wish that the country becomes stronger and pays attention to the problems either in the country or in the Balkans and that the EU is more serious in judging the countries that aspire to membership, in order to judge them better. Maybe the Albanian opposition can govern the country better ", said Pack.
