Property worth 1 million euros confiscated in Tirana

Several assets worth 1 million euros have been confiscated in Tirana. The assets are land units and vehicles owned by several citizens.

The confiscated assets will be transferred to the state.

Announcement:

The Money Laundering and Criminal Assets Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency, is finalizing the operation "RESEMBLANCE".

Within the framework of this operation, the execution of the decision of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime No. 05, dated 07.02.2024, left in force by decision No. 211, dated 23.10.2024 of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime was carried out.

In implementation of this decision, the following movable and immovable assets were confiscated:

1. A unit with an area of ​​30 m², in the name of citizen R. Rr.;

2. A unit with an area of ​​76 m², in the name of citizen R. Rr.;

3. A unit with an area of ​​127.5 m², in the name of citizen M. Ç.;

4. A unit with an area of ​​18.09 m², in the name of citizen M. Ç.;

5. A unit with an area of ​​18.09 m², in the name of citizen M. Ç.;

6. A vehicle owned by citizen R. Rr.;

7. A vehicle owned by citizen KK;

8. A wristwatch (Rolex).

The above assets, which have a market value of approximately 1 million euros, were confiscated with the aim of transferring them to the state and handed over to the Sequestered and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency.

The materials were passed on for further prosecution to the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.
