Gambling and prostitution, 3 Chinese citizens are arrested in Rinas

Three Chinese citizens were arrested in Tirana, while another was processed at large within the police operation coded "Electronics".

These citizens were caught red-handed in Rinas, after trying to smuggle 12 mobile phones, 3 laptops, 6 computers and other electronic devices into Albania, which they used for these illegal activities.

Police notification

"The Rinas Police Station, in cooperation with the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes and the Directorate for the Investigation of Computer Crimes, in the Department of Criminal Police in the General Directorate of the State Police, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, organized and finalized the coded "Electronics" police operation. As a result of this operation, Chinese citizens were arrested in the act:

X., 19 years old, CL, 43 years old and Sh. J., 49 years old, all three living in China.

Also, the free trial for the citizen YL, 17 years old, resident in China, was started.

At the entrance of RSh, during the inspection of the suitcases of these citizens, the Police found 12 mobile phones, 3 laptops, 6 computers and other electronic devices, which they were trying to smuggle into Albania. From the inspection of these devices, websites and programs for the organization of gambling and prostitution were found.

Investigations continue for the complete documentation of the criminal activities of these citizens. "- informs the police.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Smuggling with other goods", "Prostitution" and "Organization of illegal games".
