A 36-year-old Albanian man identified as Fatjon Sadikaj has been sentenced to five years in prison for illegal possession of weapons in England.
Sadikaj was stopped by English police after he was moving strangely on Chaddock Lane, Salford.
Officers suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The 38-year-old failed a breathalyzer test and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
During the search, Sadikaj initially told the police that he had a gun and while laughing, according to local media, said: "It's not true, it's just fun and games."
Officers found a shotgun and he was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
Sadikaj pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and was sentenced to five years in prison.
