Meçollari accuses protest: The environment has been altered in Palasa and

One of the speakers at today's citizen protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was Artur Meçollari, who accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of mismanaging public assets and making investments that, according to him, have not brought the promised benefits to citizens.

Referring to the Kukes Airport, he claimed that the built infrastructure is not being used as expected, while the concessionaire continues to receive payments from public funds.

Meçollari also raised questions about other strategic projects, such as Porto Romano and the Port of Durres, which he said have been accompanied by a lack of transparency and questionable decision-making. He also mentioned urban developments in the coastal areas of Palasa and Dhërmi, claiming that they have brought environmental damage and uncontrolled transformations of the territory.

"Edi Rama has destroyed all of Albania. Kukës Airport, no plane lands or takes off. The concessionaire receives money from the Albanian state every month. Porto Romano, without a feasibility study. The Port of Durres is a state crime. In Palasë and Dhërmi you have seen what happened, the environment has been alienated. Rama not only steals public property, he is a threat to national security ," he declared from the protest podium.
