The 'revenge' of two Albanian drug groups in Italy ends, 27 arrested
Italian police have destroyed two Albanian drug talents, often involved in rivalries and 'assassinations' against each other.
Corriere reports that one of the groups is led by the Albanian Elvis Demçe, considered one of the closest people to Fabrizo Piscitelli otherwise known as Diabolik and buried in 2019. While the other group is led by an Albanian, Ermal Arapaj.
A rivalry erupted between the two groups followed by revenge with firearms. The two drug clans were responsible for the extortion and arson as well as for possession of weapons that were at all times ready to be thrown into action.
Arapaj's gang received supplies in marches, especially cocaine, from other Albanians living in Sant'Elpidio a Mare.
Between the two bosses, Demces and Arapaj, deep disagreements arose over the management of Velletri Square and over economic interests, so much so that in the first second the Carabinieri organized an ambush to eliminate the rival on September 9, 2020 in Lanuvio.
Earlier in Arapaj, the villa and the cars, among them the escort car, were set on fire in Velletri. Their escape to Spain was made with the aim of returning and taking revenge on Demce, unable to do so because Arapaj was arrested on 9 February in Fermo by the carabinieri of the Latin provincial command.
