Meteorologists have called for caution, warning of flooding in parts of Central Europe and the Balkans in the next 72 hours, including Albania and Montenegro.

According to the weather forecast, a powerful cyclone, which comes as a result of cold polar masses, will cause numerous floods in several different parts of Central Europe and the Balkans.
"Various meteorological phenomena, such as electrical discharges and hail, will be more limited in general this time, however, they will be mainly more concentrated in parts of the Western Balkans and Italy.
While the key point will be the intense rain, followed by strong winds. The latter is more concentrated in Central Europe, which is expected to reach almost continuous speeds over 100 km/h from time to time, and especially in the higher areas.
As for the amount of total precipitation within 72 hours, it is expected to reach over 200 mm, partially including Albania and Montenegro, which are located in the red alert area!
