Miners protest in front of the parliament, demand the lowering of the retirement

The miners went out in protest today to demand a reduction in the retirement age.

In front of the Parliament building, the miners tried to meet the MPs but they could not achieve their goal.

At the end of their protest, the miners warned of further marches to come.

Today's parliamentary session lasted less than 5 minutes. As in the last sessions, this Monday too there were tensions that started shortly after 9:00, when opposition MPs entered the premises of the Assembly.

In the conditions of chaos in the hall, Lindita Nikolla avoided the discussions as foreseen in the agenda and immediately put the draft laws to the vote, among them the vote in principle of the budget for 2024. The draft laws received the approval of 73 socialist legislators and immediately after that, Nikolla ordered the closing of the plenary session.
