The SP anti-corruption resolution in the Assembly was approved with 76 votes in

Approved in the Assembly pr. the anti-corruption resolution proposed by the Socialist Party.

This resolution received 76 votes in favor, two against and no abstentions. 

The opposition, as it stated earlier during the session, did not participate in the vote. The two opposition MPs Agron Shehaj and Dashnor Sula voted against the approval.

Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present during the voting process.

With the approval of this draft resolution, the Special Commission for "Albania 2030" reforms will be established. Earlier during the session and discussions on this draft resolution, debates were held between the majority and the opposition MPs.

After the approval of the resolution between the parties, discussions are expected to start for the establishment of a special commission, which will monitor the work of the institutions, including those of justice for the fight against corruption, recommend and propose legal changes in accordance with the legislation of the European Union.
