Road maintenance, ARRSH announces the winners for three more lots, 5.6 million

The Albanian Road Authority has announced the preliminary winners of three other contracts related to road maintenance with a value of 5.6 million euros excluding VAT. In the procurement system, the names of the respective companies and their winning bids for three different lots have already been given. So first is lot 13 Performance maintenance of the road "Fierzë - B. Curri (Martyrs Cemetery), B. Curri - Cërnicë, D/Sopot - Kam, Dushaj - Ferry Square - Lekbibaj" (total length 59.8 km). Part of the general contract of the Northern Region, this lot was won by the Economic Operator "GECI" LLC with a value of 2.37 million euros.

In the documents of the procedure, it is stated that the condition of the road axes "Fierzë-B.Curri (Martyrs' Cemetery), B.Curri - Cërnicë, D/Sopot-Kam, Dushaj - Ferry Square - Lekbibaj" is average in general with some problems that they also come as a result of the degradation of some road elements that are favored by the difficult mountainous relief and extreme atmospheric conditions.

Another winner was announced in lot 14 of the contract related to axes in the Northern region. It is about the roads "Peshkopi (K/Rr. Tomin) - D/Kuben - Vasije, U. Cerenecit Sebisht (Borovë)" (total length 57.3 km). The winning operators are "ALKO IMPEX CONSTRUCTION" LLC & "ALKO-IMPEX General Construcion" LLC with an offer of 1.57 million euros.

The third lot with a winner is the 15th and related to the contract the road "Ura e Matit Kthesa e Lapidari - Rrëshen, K/Rrugën Kombëtare - Ulëz, Qafë Bualli - Krastë" (total length 48.8 km), with an offer from the operator " UDHA" ShPK of 1.65 million euros. The contracts are part of the general procedure of the Northern region, which has a total limit fund of 2.9 billion ALL or about 29 million euros. The duration of the contracts, i.e. the time that the companies will maintain the axes in question, is 448 months./ Monitor
