Cold weather with temperatures below zero, UKT appeals to citizens in Tirana:

For days, Tirana has been gripped by extreme temperatures, and recently they have even dropped below zero.

Under these conditions, Tirana's Waterworks has notified citizens to take measures to protect the internal water supply system.

UKT calls on citizens for any problem to contact the phone number 08004488 or go to all its points near their residential areas.

"An important announcement for the citizens of Tirana!! The temperatures are getting lower and lower every day, so taking some preventive measures protects us during any difficulties in our families! 
We want to give you some advice on how to get through how much easier these cold winter days! 

UKT suggests for the protection of the internal system of the water supply network and the maintenance of water meters, that:
Show care and control of the pipes/installations inside your property, including water meters. (Indoor or outdoor), due to atmospheric conditions! 
On ground floors, where pipes are more exposed to the outside environment and leaks are more potential, please cover or insulate them, for optimal protection!
