Today, Albania begins the historic challenge in the European Championship 'Germany 2024', with the Group B match against Italy.

This match has been widely commented by foreign media as well.

The BBC writes that the Italians are a much-changed team and under pressure to make a strong start in Dortmund against one of the lower teams at Euro 2024.

"Giants and heroes don't come out with fear - they come out with passion and confidence," Italy boss Luciano Spalletti said on Friday.

Albania, 66th in the FIFA world rankings, are making only their second appearance at a major tournament.

Italian captain Gianluigi Donnarumma insists the Eagles, with some of the teams playing in Serie A, should not be taken lightly.

Albania is led by former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Sylvinho.

"We respect our opponents, but we are not afraid of anyone," said the Brazilian.

The players are ready to give everything on the European stage and make Albania proud".

Italy and Albania are in Group B – along with Spain and Croatia.
