Tomorrow is expected to change the name of "Minishengen", Rama does

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic were received today by their Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev in the framework of the Economic Forum for Regional Cooperation.

In an interview with Top Channel, Prime Minister Rama said that the name of the initiative, which until today is known as "Minishengen", will change. Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro have also been somewhat skeptical about the name "Minishengen" after meeting several times at joint roundtables.

In the framework of the forum that will be held tomorrow, Rama said that there are several decisions and agreements that will be signed. "There are several decisions, agreements to be signed, there is an Economic Forum with the business community and we continue to work ," Rama said.

Regarding the change of the name of the initiative, Rama said that whoever has been caught with the name so far, will continue to be caught again.

"Regional Schengen is just the framework of a formula that is the EU formula, namely the framework of the four EU freedoms, the free movement of people, goods, services and capital. Given that many are caught up in this name and are supposed to have another name just as we started, I think who will be caught with the name, will be caught again with the name, it is not that anything will be resolved from this side " , said Rama.

Regarding the absence of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Rama refused to comment. "I have no comment on that ," he said.
