Tomorrow intense rain and thunderstorms, the most vulnerable counties

The unstable weather will continue to accompany us throughout the week. According to the National Center for Forecasting and Monitoring of Natural Hazards at the Institute of Geosciences, on Monday average rainfall is expected in Elbasan district and weak rainfall in other districts, locally average in Dibër, Lezhë, Tirana, Berat and Korçë districts.

According to the IGJEO bulletin, the rains are expected to be accompanied by strong winds in these districts. In Elbasan, it is predicted that in the next 24 hours the level of precipitation will exceed 45 mm, increasing the risk of problems.

In the bulletin, it is determined that thunderstorms and high intensity of rains, for short moments, can create various problems, as well as water floods in urban areas, depending on the sewerage system in Dibër, Elbasan, Berat and Korçë counties.

According to forecasts, temperatures on Monday will increase by 4-5 degrees Celsius compared to the weekend when maximum temperatures dropped below 20 degrees.

The minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach: on the coast: 15/22 °C, in the lowlands: 14/23 °C, while in the mountainous countries: 9/17 °C.

The Road Authority announces that all tools and workers are on the ground and have taken all the necessary measures to facilitate road traffic.
