The Police Supervision Agency (AMP) for the Vlora - Gjirokastër Region, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Gjirokastër, has executed the personal security measure "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" against the SK employee, who serves in the Sector for the Implementation of Supplementary Measures for Territory Control in the Local Border and Migration Directorate of Gjirokastër. He is suspected of the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

The security measure was set after the report of the citizen JL, a doctor at the "Omer Nishani" hospital in Gjirokastër, regarding an event that happened on 25.10.2024, where the police officer drew his service weapon during a medical visit.

AMP invites citizens to report any case of abuse or violation of the law by employees of supervisory structures, by calling the green number 0800 90 90 or sending complaints on WhatsApp to the number 0694151511.
