Operation in Vlora, names of 6 arrested revealed

Vlora Police have revealed the identities of six people arrested during the operation which led to the crackdown on a highly socially dangerous criminal group operating in Vlora and Fier.

The following have been arrested:

Florian Shala alias Florian Alliaj;

Neritan Dalipaj alias Neritan Qejvanaj;

Aleksandër Dula alias Aleksandër Thomai alias Ilir Dula;

Mico Beqaraj;

The Alligator Tour;

Dritan Celaj.

According to the Police, Turi Aligjoni is the person suspected of being the perpetrator of the injury of 27-year-old Kevi Lazaj, an event that occurred on June 7 in the city of Vlora.

Meanwhile, Aleksandër Dula alias Aleksandër Thomai alias Ilir Dula is internationally wanted by Italian authorities. He was sentenced by the Court of Appeal in Lecce to 6 years and 8 months in prison for the criminal offenses of drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization for the purpose of drug trafficking.

During the operation, officers seized four firearms, pistols, combat ammunition, three vehicles - one of them armored - mobile phones and a sum of money.
