'Lawsuit for 4 villas' / After Duma and Tabak, Veliaj can sue Basha's brother-in-law
Mayor Erion Veliaj has won the lawsuit in SPAK against the brother-in-law of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, Erion Isufi.
The latter had sued Veliaj about a year ago for defamation, for the ownership of 4 villas in luxury resorts in Lalzi Bay and Long Hills in Tirana.
After the victories with Grida Duma and Jorida Tabaku for defamation in court, Veliaj has won the next trial with Basha's brother-in-law, who failed to prove to SPAK that Veliaj's statements a year ago, that Lulzim Basha owns 4 villas and had applied to the municipality for the 5th villa, they were untrue, writes the newspaper Shqip.
This decision of the Special Court SPAK, which rejected the claims of Basha's brother-in-law, in fact, indirectly proves that Veliaj's statements were correct and that the villas in question exist.
