After serving for 12 hours, there is no summer vacation for police officers

The State Police has canceled the planned annual leave for the officers. This is because the police will be engaged during the three months of the summer season.

According to the latest order signed by the General Director, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, the cancellation of holidays is done in order to meet the services planned for the 2024 tourist season.

"To cancel the planned annual vacations of 2024, in the period from June 20, 2024 to September 15, 2024, for all operational structures of the State Police, which are charged with tasks for the safety and smooth running of the summer tourist season" , the order says.

According to the document, the leaders of the central and local structures of the State Police, as well as of special structures, must reschedule the annual vacations of police officers for the remaining period until the end of the 2024 calendar year.

We remind you that in addition to the cancellation of vacations, policemen have started working 12 hours a day since June 15.
