The cleaner gave them a copy of the key, two brothers steal the 59-year-old's apartment in Durrës

A 42-year-old and a 33-year-old woman were arrested by the Durrës police after they were accused of robbing a 59-year-old man's apartment in district 18 in cooperation with another wanted person.

According to the police, the woman, who worked as a cleaner in the 59-year-old's apartment, provided a copy of the house key to two brothers, who, after making sure that there was no one in the apartment, entered and stole some jewelry and a a lot of money.

One of the brothers is in handcuffs and the work continues for the capture of the other brother, who committed the theft in Sh.Gj.'s apartment, in neighborhood no. 18 Durres.

Another operation is being finalized within the last 24 hours to clarify the thefts that happened before.

The coded operation "Copy", developed by the structures of the Crime Investigation of the Durrës Police Station, in cooperation with those of the DVP.

She worked as a sanitary worker in the apartment of a 59-year-old and collaborated with two citizens (brothers with social ties to them) by providing copies of the keys to the apartment, who stole a significant amount of money and jewelry from the apartment, the 33-year-old woman was put in handcuffs .

One of the brothers is in handcuffs and the work continues for the capture of the other brother, who committed the theft in the apartment of the citizen Sh.Gj., in neighborhood no. 18 Durres.

The police found and seized as material evidence a ring and a gold pendant as well as a sum of money.

Following the consecutive operations carried out by the structures of the Durrës Local Police Directorate and the Police Stations under it with the aim of clarifying the thefts that happened before, during the last 24 hours another operation has been finalized for this purpose.

The Investigative Structures of the Durrës Police Station, after receiving the complaint from the citizen Sh. Gj., 59 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 18 Durrës, that a sum of money and jewelry had been stolen from their apartment without breaking into it, allegedly through the door key, they immediately organized the work to clarify this case.

Thanks to quick investigative and professional actions, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, it became possible to clarify the incident, the mechanism of the theft and identify the suspected perpetrators.

Following the actions within the coded police operation "Copy", the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

FH, 42 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 13 Durrës and EK, 33 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 11, Durres.

Citizen AH, 36 years old, resident of district no. 13, Durrës, was declared wanted, where the work for his capture continues.

From the professional investigative actions of several days, based on police intelligence, surveillance of cameras and other proactive actions, it is suspected that the citizen EK, since she worked as a sanitary worker in the apartment of the citizen Sh.Gj, has provided copies of the keys to the apartment and gave to the brothers E. H and AH, as well as informed them about the absence of family members in the apartment.

As material evidence, the Police found and seized during the search in the residence of the citizen FH, a pendant and a gold ring, a sum of money and a vehicle that is suspected to have been used during the theft.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in the Durrës General Jurisdiction for further actions.
