Clash at the Psychologist's Order/ Laboviti goes to take office, Treska

Tension and verbal clashes were recorded this Monday at the premises of the Order of Psychologists, where newly elected president Brunilda Laboviti was faced with Valbona Treska's refusal to vacate the office.

After the elections held a few days ago, where Laboviti was declared the winner with 238 votes out of a total of 451, she went today to officially take office, but encountered opposition from Treska. The latter has stated that she will not leave the post without reviewing the complaint about the electoral process.

Faced with the situation, Laboviti contacted her legal representative and then the State Police, requesting intervention to vacate the office. Two police officers arrived at the institution's premises, where Laboviti explained that she had won the elections and was being prevented from exercising her duties.

Laboviti before the police: "I have been declared the winner and I have come to take office today, but Mrs. Treska will not vacate the office. I need your help."
The situation comes after a turbulent year in the institution of the Order of Psychologists, accompanied by clashes, accusations of illegal exclusions from the competition and tensions during the election process. The two official candidates were Brunilda Laboviti and Elona Mustafaraj, where the latter received 140 votes, while 73 votes were declared invalid.

Despite the official result, Valbona Treska refuses to recognize the transfer of office, making it conditional on the review of complaints, which has further escalated the clash at the top of the institution.

The feud between the old and new administrations continues, leaving the implementation of the election results and the normal functioning of the institution in suspense.
