The Special Court has issued a verdict for Kristi Bixheku and Artan Tafani, who were facing charges for several criminal offenses, including "destruction of property with explosives", "providing conditions and material means to commit murder" and "structured criminal group".

For Kristi Bixheku, the trial panel imposed a sentence of 3 years and 6 months in prison. Due to the benefit of the summary trial, the sentence was reduced to 2 years and 4 months in prison.

Previously, the Special Prosecution had requested 8 years in prison for Bixheku, a sentence that would be reduced to 6 years due to the shortened procedure. However, the court did not accept all the charges brought against him, declaring him innocent for several episodes included in the file.

Meanwhile, the decision for Artan Tafani was announced in the same session, within the framework of the process that was conducted in a shortened procedure.
