The Archbishop of the Diocese of Shkodra-Pult Monsignor Angelo Masafra has conveyed a message to the President of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu regarding the event that took place today at noon in the mosque of Dine Hoxha in Tirana where several Muslim believers were injured.
According to Monsignor Massafra, the event was shocking and he hopes that it will be clarified as soon as possible in all its details.

The news of a knife attack by an individual in the mosque of Dine Hoxha in Tirana where several Muslim believers were injured has shocked us all.
Hoping that the event will be clarified as soon as possible in all its details, we express to you, and through you, the injured and their families, the closeness and solidarity of the entire Catholic Church in Albania.
We pray to God for all of you, who are living the month of Ramadan, for the wounded, for your community and all Albanians so that peace and goodness reign in our hearts and that such events do not happen again.
