Vlora Prosecution seizes 5 million euros of assets

The Vlora Prosecution Office has seized assets worth 5 million euros, which according to investigations were obtained with forged documents.

According to the official announcement, it concerns a 1600 m2 walnut land area and a 1900 m2 olive grove obtained through forgery, suspected to be owned by citizens HB, IB, KB, SB.

"From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 373 of 2023, initiated after the report of citizen KM, for the criminal offenses "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms" provided for by article 190, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and "Laundering of proceeds of crime", provided for by article 287, letter c) of the Criminal Code, in charge of the person under investigation KB, it resulted that this citizen had obtained property, land with a surface area of ​​1600 m2 and an olive grove of 1900 m2 with forged documents. 

Consequently, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Vlora, the following assets were seized:

– Property of the type “Are”, with an area of ​​1600 m2, Vlora, owned by citizens HB, IB, KB, SB; as well as;

- Property of the type "Olive Grove", with an area of ​​1900 m2, owned by citizens HB, IB, KB, SB", the official announcement states.
