70-year-old worker dies during work hours, company administrator wanted

The administrator of a construction firm in Korça has been declared wanted, after an employee working for this company lost his life yesterday during working hours, after accidentally falling from scaffolding.

The blue uniforms indicate that the 70-year-old employee fell from scaffolding while working on a facility, and as a result lost his life.

The police announced a search for the administrator of the company that was carrying out construction on this facility, citizen AZ, 61 years old, resident of Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Violation of occupational safety regulations" and "Practice of financial activities without a license."

Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding citizen Dh. P., 70 years old, who is suspected of accidentally falling from scaffolding while working on a building, and as a result losing his life, we inform that the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Kolonjë Police Commissariat referred the procedural materials to the Prosecutor's Office and declared the administrator of the company that is carrying out construction on this building, citizen AZ, 61 years old, resident of Tirana, wanted for the criminal offenses of "Violation of safety regulations at work" and "Practice of financial activities without a license".
