Eurostat report: Albanians with the lowest per capita income in Europe, 24.5% below the EU average
The average disposable income of Albanians is lower than the European average, constituting only 24.5% of the EU average.
From the data received from Eurostat and processed by Monitor , after Albania, North Macedonia (5,988 PPS) and Serbia (6,602 PPS) have the lowest average income.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has an average per capita income of 33% of the EU average. Kosovo is missing from the list.
In the indicator of individual consumption per capita, which measures the purchasing power of citizens and their well-being, Albania remains last on the list with 39% of the European average. Bosnia has this indicator 41%, North Macedonia 49, Serbia 52 and Montenegro 60%.
