140 kg of cannabis sativa were seized in a residence in Shkodër. The apartment was fitted with equipment supplied with illegal electricity connections, to cultivate narcotic plants.
4 people were put in handcuffs, the owner of the apartment and three of his family members.
The following were put in handcuffs: Zef Shtjefni, 61 years old, Gent Shtjefni, 38 years old (father and son), Dritan Shtjefni, 35 years old and David Shtjefni, 42 years old, brothers (nephews of citizen Z. Sh.).
NOTICE:
140 kg of cannabis sativa in the form of bottles were seized, which were found in a residence adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, with equipment supplied with illegal electricity connections.
4 citizens involved in this criminal activity were arrested in the act (the owner of the apartment and three of his family members).
The Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Shkodër, in cooperation with the Vau i Dejës Police Station and the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, that in the village of Naraç, Vau i Dejës municipality, was produced narcotics in an apartment, they carried out control within the coded police operation "Naraç".
During the inspection, in the residence of the citizen Zef Shtjefni, in the village of Naraç, the Police services found about 140 kg of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa in the form of bottles. From the verifications carried out, it turned out that there were illegal electricity connections in this apartment.
Also, in an area near the apartment, the Police services have found various equipment that is suspected to have been used for the cultivation of narcotic plants, which were seized as material evidence, together with the narcotic substance and 1 vehicle with a trailer.
Following the actions for this case, citizens Zef Shtjefni, 61 years old, Gent Shtjefni, 38 years old (father and son), Dritan Shtjefni, 35 years old and David Shtjefni, 42 years old, brothers (nephews of the citizen Mr. Sh. ), all residents of Narac village.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Theft of electricity".
