Price tightening increases inflation, reaching 7.5% in July

As it was warned, inflation has increased again. The Institute of Statistics reports that in July, inflation reached 7.5%, increasing by 0.2% compared to June and 2.2% compared to the same period a year ago.

This situation has come as a result of the continuous increase in prices. INSTAT reports that "Food and non-alcoholic beverages" increased by 4.59%, followed by the group "Transport" by 1.14%.

These are the main impact groups, followed by rent, energy and water bills, etc. While in the Eurozone, in July inflation reached 8.9%.
