"Italian union announces SP meeting with immigrants", Topalli debates with Balla: Let's go together

"Italian union announces SP meeting with immigrants", Topalli debates

The DP's leader for the diaspora vote, Jozefina Topalli, raised concerns regarding news that an Italian union has called for the SP to meet with Albanians in Rimini.

"I would consider 3 moments. 2 which are advantageous to bring about rotation and the third a concern. The first two. The diaspora is free from pressure from the government, which I cannot say about the administration. The second. In the last 12 years, about 1 million Albanians have left and those who have left home I cannot imagine returning as a reward to the current government. The third, I was reading that an email was distributed where CGIL (Italian union) notified Albanians living in Rimini to come to the SP meeting. It was the biggest surprise how an Italian union makes an appeal. This is my concern ," Topalli said on Klan TV.

This claim was responded to by the SP leader for the diaspora vote, Taulant Balla, who invited Topalli to attend meetings with the diaspora together with representatives of the SP and the DP, and ultimately for emigrants to vote according to their wishes.

"All this time I have noticed that Albanians are now represented, there are even Albanian mayors and there are thousands in various unions, where Albanians are part, and I see no problem with them informing each other by email. I would be willing to go to these meetings together, SP and DP."

"I would be proud if we were all here together and talked to them, and then Albanians could vote for whoever they want. This story of creating alibis for the next defeat. It is important that we increase the number of those who are informed ," said Taulant Balla.
