The Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) has launched investigations into the Oncology scandal for 3 criminal offences. Specifically, SPAK is investigating drug smuggling, abuse of office and corruption.
Doctors Edmond Gashi and Alketa Ymeri (Pere) are under investigation. Also, the former specialist of QSUT, Drilona Kishta, Brikena Qirjazi, deputy director of QSUT, Emiljano Lela, coordinator of the Oncology Hospital who played the role of realtor, Halil Gashi, administrator of Edmond Gashi's 'Megis' clinic and Florian Marku, administrator of the pharmacy where contraband drugs were caught.
