A citizen declared internationally wanted and captured in Kosovo has been extradited to Albania.

Hamit Berisha, 56 years old, was wanted for the criminal offenses of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition"

This citizen is suspected that in May 2023, in cooperation with 3 other citizens, he tried to kill 1 citizen.

The criminal event was prevented as a result of the intervention of the Berat Police, as part of the "Objective" operation.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
