A 68-year-old man who tried to cultivate 62 cannabis plants in the village of Shegan in Malësë e Madhe, was arrested by the police. It is about the citizen Gjek Kaçaj.
According to the police, the 68-year-old tried to cultivate narcotics on public property, while it is suspected that he is also the author of the cultivation of 103 cannabis seedlings destroyed on 24.08.2024 in the territory of the village of Gashaj.

He tried to cultivate 62 cannabis seedlings in the village of Shegan, on public property, and the 68-year-old man was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.
This citizen is suspected of being the author of the cultivation of 103 cannabis seedlings destroyed on 24.08.2024 in the territory of the village of Gashaj.
Following the national mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat, during the control of the territory in cooperation with SPK Bajze, using drones for aerial monitoring, in the Kastrat Administrative Unit, in the village of Shegan, have found planted in the ground 62 suspected cannabis seedlings.

Also, based on investigations and police intelligence, it is suspected that the 68-year-old is also the author of the cultivation of 103 cannabis seedlings destroyed by the Police on 24.08.2024 in the territory of the village of Gashaj, Kastrat Administrative Unit.
Work continues to identify and capture other citizens involved in this criminal activity.
