A 33-year-old man has been handcuffed by the police after being wanted for attempted murder in Germany.

Daniel Hajro is suspected of being the author of an event that happened 2 years ago, in Germany, and the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been assigned to him. The event in question took place in a bar in Germany, where it is suspected that the 33-year-old tried to kill a person with a firearm and seriously injured another.

Police notification:

The police operation coded "Wanted" is successfully completed, for the capture of a citizen wanted for premeditated murder, for revenge, remaining in the attempt and serious injury with intent.

The operation, developed as a result of intensive cooperation between DVP Korçë, DVP Tirana, FAST Albania and the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District.

The 33-year-old man is arrested and detained under the "Prison Arrest" security measure, as the suspected author of an event that happened 2 years ago, in Germany.

The specialists of the investigative and operational structures of DVP Korçë, in cooperation with FAST Albania, DVP Tirana and the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District, following the work for the capture of the wanted persons, as well as based on the information received on the operational route for the location of a person wanted for crimes against life and health, have successfully completed the coded operation "Wanted", as a result of which the citizen was arrested and detained:

- DH, 33 years old, resident of Korça.

The Court of the Korçë Judicial District, with the decision dated 17.09.2022, has set for this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", committed for revenge, remaining in the attempt and "Serious wounding with dashe", in relation to an event that happened on 18.05.2020, in a bar in Germany, where the 33-year-old tried to kill a person with a firearm and seriously injured another.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District, for further action.
