Ermal Dizdari, the employee of the municipality of Shkodra who was violently assaulted today, has been sent to the trauma hospital.
According to reports, he underwent a scan and it was found that he has a hemorrhage in the brain, but he is conscious and talking.
However, it will be kept under the monitoring of doctors. At the moment there is no need for surgical intervention.
In addition to the hemorrhage, there is a plunging fracture to the forehead as well as several head wounds and 4 broken teeth in the upper part of the mouth.
The Police Services immediately went to the scene and are continuing the checks to catch the perpetrator. The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
