VIDEO / Ambassadors take Pogonishte to "Skënderbej" square, Soreca at the top of the dance
Ambassadors of European Union countries in Albania were present this Sunday morning at the closing event of 'Europe Week', held in 'Skanderbeg' Square. They have chosen to set aside diplomatic protocol and throw in a traditional Albanian dance, "Pogonishten".
As seen in the Faxweb video, at the top of the dance is the EU ambassador Luigi Soreca, who stands next to a girl in traditional Albanian dress. Behind him are the Swedish ambassador Elsa Hastad, the Dutch ambassador Guusje Korthals Altes, as well as the German ambassador Peter Zingraf, who are enjoying a very beautiful moment.
"Europe Week" is an activity held by EU representatives in Albania on the occasion of May 9, which is considered Europe Day, which marked the final victory over fascism and the end of World War II.
