May 11 elections, CEC excludes address as a document for emigrant registration

Diasporas can register on the voter list without having proof of residence in the country where they live and work. 

This change was approved today by the Election Regulatory Commission with 5 votes in favor.

The Election Regulatory Commission announces that these changes create convenience in the registration of voters who do not possess a proof of address document in their name.
