The court of Lezha has sentenced to life imprisonment the contract killer Dorjan Keqi, who was charged as an accomplice in the murder of the former director of High Voltage for the North, Saimir Jaku, an event that happened in 2016 in Rrëshen.
The 42-year-old from Kruja, residing in Kurbin, was found guilty of the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" committed in cooperation and "Carrying weapons without a permit".
Just as at the time of his arrest and during the trial on the merits of the case, Dorjan Keqi has continuously denied having anything to do with the crime, refusing to become an associate of justice in exchange for easing his criminal charges. But the prosecution body, through scientific evidence, managed to clarify the incident after 7 years from the murder of the OST official in Rrëshen, proving the guilt of Dorjan Keqi.
