Cocaine laboratory discovered in Antwerp, 6 Albanians in handcuffs

Six Albanians have been arrested in Belgium, after being accused of importing and trading narcotics.

The investigation started in 2023 by the Antwerp federal judicial police where a cocaine laundry was discovered in the building that crushed and packaged it and then traded it all over Europe.

The spokesperson of the public prosecution of Antwerp Kristof Aerts said that "With the instruction of the investigating judge, 5 checks were carried out in Antwerp, Berchem and Borgerhout.

During the search in Somersstraat, near the Central Station, chemicals, a press, logos and packaging material were found.

Six men aged 22 to 57 were brought before the investigating judge after questioning. All six were arrested and sent to prison.”
