The Central Election Commission has determined the three municipalities where electronic voting will take place.
In the local elections on May 14, the citizens of three Vora, Kamza and Elbasan will vote electronically, where the counting will also be electronic.
The CEC approved this Wednesday the final draft decision: "On the implementation of the pilot project for the process of voting and electronic counting of votes, in the elections for local government bodies, dated May 14, 2023, in the municipalities of Elbasan, Kamëz and Vorë".
Electronic voting was implemented for the first time in the general elections of 2021 in KZAZ No. 40 in unit 10 in Tirana and in Vorë Municipality.
