Albin Kurti declares victory: We will form the next government

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, also a candidate for a mandate from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has declared victory in the February 9 general elections.

In a statement from the Vetevendosje Movement headquarters in Pristina, Kurti said that during his third mandate, Kurti will continue to govern with the "Guxo" and "Alternativa" parties.

"We are the first and this is confirmation of a good, prosperous and democratic government. Our coalition will form our government 3. I will continue the work. The people won, Vetëvendosje won. We are the winning entity that will form the next government. Everyone is clear that those who came second and third, if they get together, will not do as well as we do ," Kurti said.
