The parents of the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, have gone to The Hague to visit their son in the detention center of the Special Court there.

After the meeting with his son, Haxhi Thaçi, the father of the former president, expressed his happiness that he saw his son again, while he wished that he and the other former leaders of the KLA return to Kosovo as soon as possible.

"We are happy that we were given the opportunity to come, without our son, Hashim. We missed him. We miss you, because we used to see each other more often. We miss the boy. We miss all his friends. They miss you, Kosovo. Regardless of the fact that they have been busy with state work, Hashim has always found time and came with us to Buroje. Because we are old, we are getting old, we are barely getting out of bed. Ishalla is not ready for our return, not only our son, but all these friends here, return to their homes, where they have worked hard for Kosovo to be free and independent state. We are waiting for our family to come back as soon as possible, all Albania is waiting for them. They live in Kosovo, not here ," he said.
