Serbian dinar, Osmani: Without cooperation with the allies we will not succeed

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said today that the issue of the dinar could be resolved within the country, there was no need to reach a clash between the allies.

"This issue can be resolved here in Kosovo. In fact, it shouldn't have been an issue at all. It should not have been created as a clash with the allies", Osmani told the media.

The new regulation to introduce only euros into circulation has entered into force since February 1.

The United States of America has opposed this new regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo, where they have asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti to postpone the implementation.
