The Kosovo Police has confiscated a quantity of weapons and ammunition in the northern part of the country.

The regional police of Kosovo in Mitrovica have clarified the details of today's action where long guns of different calibers, pistols, hand grenades, etc. were found.

The deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, said that within the framework of operational activities in cooperation with the KIA, they managed to identify several locations where hidden weapons were located, by former members of the Civil Defense and members of the group terrorist of Banjska.

In the first location, three AK-47 long guns, four magazines with 60 bullets, a comb with 11 bullets, a revolver case, a military bag were found.

While in the second location, a belt with 25 cartridges for a hunting weapon, 23 cartridges for a hunting weapon, a TT pistol with a magazine with eight cartridges, three magazines with eight cartridges each, two magazines on the back, 28 cartridges for long guns were found. , 10 long gun cartridge combs (99 rounds), one box of 7×62 cartridges, four gun cleaners, box of suspicious material.
