Police seize ammunition and military equipment again in northern Kosovo

Kosovo Police have found ammunition and various military equipment during a search in North Mitrovica.

Authorities today confiscated four M-79 grenades, eight gas masks, optical equipment and a sniper cape, more than 100 cartridges of various calibers, T-shirts with the inscription "Knights of Kosovo" in Cyrillic, a metal rod, a compass and handcuffs.

In addition to weapons, police officers also found and confiscated graphics cards (Riga) for the production of cryptocurrencies, SIM cards, phones, 4 chargers for radio connections, a rotating light for a car, and 10 USB sticks.

This weaponry was found in a house and an attached building north of Mitrovica.

The news was confirmed to Telegrafi by the chief of police operations for the northern region, Petrit Fejza.

According to him, a person with the initials MB, about 37 years old, was arrested in connection with the case, and by order of the prosecutor, he was sentenced to 48 hours of detention.
