Killed by her husband, Gjyljeta Ukella's daughter leads the protest in Peja

Today in Kosovo, a protest was held as a sign of revolt against the murder of Gjyljeta Ukella, who was executed inside the apartment by her husband Edmond Lajçi

The rally was led by the victim's daughter, who was holding a white T-shirt emblazoned with her mother's photo.

The march started in the city center to continue towards the buildings of the Police, the Basic Court and the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Peja.

In the meantime, the Basic Court in Peja has imposed a one-month detention on the husband of Gjyljeta Ukella.

The protestors were holding placards that read "it's useless to talk until they kill", as well as t-shirts printed with the image of the victim.
