In "Doktor Gjëlpëra…", Konica shines with that famous episode of Arife's treatment of Zylfikar aga, with the 'by proxy' method. At the point where we are after the elections, I have the impression that Edi Rama is helping the DP in the same way, by pulling out his teeth and making his stomach swell, some Zylfikars (in the cultural sense), who are holding the DP hostage.
Rama, in the first person, today is like Doctor Gjelpera for the DP.
Of course, what some naive enthusiasts are saying may irritate, confuse, confuse - to understand this requires the same empathy, memory, and care not to confuse cultural "objects", experience, beliefs, with political means, without excluding links between them.
It is the same, for example, with the difference between "Reflections" and "Kurban" and just as much with the connection between them. "Reflections" by Rama and Klosi was one of the most elegant books for me in the early '90s, with almost the same cool allure as Kadare's "Monster", reprinted at about the same time. Rama of "Refleksione" was a cultural beginning, impression, curiosity, need for identity, same thirst to be constructed. Rama of "Kurbani" is culturally a consequence of "Reflections", but a state of a different kind, political, design of a system in direct action. There, the freedom of the "Reflections" is lost, but there, paradoxically, are the opportunities to realize freedom. In a set of acts, resembling the system,
What can the DP learn from Edi Rama? First of all, it is a great stress test, to move towards some new standards for the DP, a good opportunity to re-establish, at least in the cultural field, then also practical. Edi Rama will force the Democratic Party to leave stylistic thinking, provincial mythology, and pathos, to return to Realism and Labor.
Edi Rama has shown that the roots of '91 are money to maintain and nourish a heavy body like that of the Democratic Party. Rama's actions show that he has managed to melt in a single horizon some cultural periods from the National Renaissance onwards, he has managed to recycle and build perspective even on the hopeless matter, he has dared, he has risked, but not in smoke, but on a value system.
Respectively, rejecting in practice the romantic myths of the century. XX left and right has not walked with the inertia of being "against" or deconstructing someone. He has been creative. Worker. He has won by being like that. A dynamic cultural construct based on creativity, ie in essence - a project, is the prerequisite that inspires any working structure, makes it functional, creates trust and encouragement.
These qualities evoke each other, then. A functional structure helps to have tools and opportunities, seduces development mechanisms, overcomes fear and disbelief, laziness, leads to new spaces of social interaction, frees the latter, for example, from the bloc's slandered elitism, which insanely still alive in the Democratic Party, from the ridiculous fabrication of beliefs and experiences where individual identities are dissolved, from the grotesque siege to mediocre worthless "leftovers".
Of course, I have in mind the Rama model, the premises of development that that model produces with all the remnants of a country and society like ours. But, I am convinced that from Rama "in persona", a man with two minds has something to draw. The good thing is that Rama's victory will be suffered by the Zylfikars, in the hope that they will remember, neither the voters nor the right, that in the circumstances I would like to wish them, Rama would not have foreign cultural meat.
